How we built a short form content engine for Cold IQ that turned views into a direct pipeline
ChannelCraft partnered with Alex Vaca and the ColdIQ team to build and run their content operation from the ground up across multiple platforms. Here's a look at the engine that we produced.

/Project Goals/
We came in to own the operation completely, starting with Instagram as the most difficult channel that needed to be cracked. That meant coming up with the viral short ideas, scripting them, editing them, posting them, and wiring up the backend so that views actually turned into leads. We installed ManyChat so that when someone commented on a reel, they'd automatically get sent a freebie in their DMs, a report, a resource, something worth having. That comment becomes a lead. That lead goes straight into the CRM.
We then repurposed the content across multiple platforms.
Some of the formats we produced required zero recording time from Alex. Our team handled everything, text on video, text layered over footage, motion based formats. Others he recorded for us. Either way, the production lifted off his plate almost entirely.
/Results/
A 240-comment reel is the one worth talking about in detail. Two hundred and forty people commented, triggered the automation, received the freebie. Then, these leads landed in ColdIQ's CRM as qualified leads. Not followers. Not impressions. Actual people who put their hand up, engaged, and got pulled into the sales process automatically.
That's a lead generation mechanic most brands haven't figured out yet. The content does the qualifying. The automation does the capturing. By the time a lead hits the CRM, they've already shown intent - they have been warmed up through a multi-channel approach, watching Alex's videos on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
