How we turned a German insurance broker into the go-to expert on YouTube and AI search for digital nomads
ChannelCraft partnered with Robin Lerch and grenzenlos sicher to build a YouTube channel that now drives 40% of their organic leads, while making them the top result in AI-powered search for international health insurance.
/The Challenge/
Watch how we broke down his channel and rebuilt it (click video below). We then took over full YouTube production (coming up with video ideas, creating thumbnails, researching videos, scripting scripts, editing the videos, uploading, tracking leads).
As a second project, we implemented LLM positioning so grenzenlos sicher shows up when prospects ask AI tools about international health insurance. We did that by: 1. posting about Grenzenlos-sicher on Reddit (around 10-15 posts per month with strategic keywords) and 2. optimizing his website for LLM searchability.
/Results/
2 months after taking over the YouTube channel we increased the average view duration by around 2 minutes - and had produced 2 1of10 (most viewed) vides. The CTAs and editing style were improved in order to optimize for brand recognition and conversion.
The channel converts viewers into booked consultation calls. The videos are used at multiple touchpoints with the customers, e.g. on blog posts of the website, during the sales process, etc. Robin is a widely recognized figure in the expat space, mainly thanks to his YouTube channel.
With LLM positioning, grenzenlos sicher also appears in AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity when prospects search for international health insurance. His search ranking was improved by 34 spots after 4 months of LLM optimization service - making him the #1 or #2 result on 90% of his target keywords.
